It's Library Day at Adventure-Equation!
I hope you enjoy this short (20 pg) booklet by Sun Ra scholar, Chris Trent. Written before his involvement with 'The Earthly Recordings of Sun Ra 2nd edition,' it gives brief descriptions of several of Sun Ra's albums. What I have for you is a collection of jpeg scans of the complete booklet.

ReplyDeleteYotte this blog is fast becoming a excellent Sun Ra resource...keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Stylo! That means a lot to me.
ReplyDeleteA nice little read and I will use it as a reference when i next have a big buy up from Amazon.
ReplyDeleteHaving come back to listening to Sun Ra after quite a long time, I have been lucky enough to find your excellent blog. It really is a tremendous resource and I thank you for it. It is not just that you have posted so much music, but the information and images you provide are most valuable. There are many wonders with links that work, but quite a few that I hope will be re-upped in due course (I appreciate that this is a huge task, following the loss of everything!) - the "second chance" posts are an excellent thing and I cannot thank you enough for them. I have one request for now - would it be possible for you to repost the Another Shade of Blue booklet (the PDF version if possible), as I would very much like to read it? Many thanks again.
ReplyDeleteHi Jerry,
ReplyDeleteI've re-upped the pdf for you. Thanks so much for the kind remarks.
Hi Yotte. That's great (and very quickly done). Thank you very much indeed.
